Blight plot to use a time machine to go back in time fifty years to wreck the future, by exploiting the lack of conservation laws circa that period to their advantage.
On New Year's Eve in Greenland, Greedly and Dr. Blight manipulates him into changing history to relieve himself of his duties, but Wheeler soon learns he's also changed the past, present, and future for the worse.
